Michael Day has over 35 years' experience as a Systemic and Family psychotherapist, specialising in relationship issues. He was a founder member of the Connexions group of counsellors and psychotherapists and in 1990 established a peer supervision group with a consistent gender balance.
For over 25 years he contracted to the NHS, working in Adult and in Child and Adolescent mental health (CAMHS) settings.
He was also a qualified Social Worker for 25 years, working for the Probation Service in both the Criminal and Family courts, where he pioneered a mediation approach with separating and divorcing parents. He helped set up London's first Family Contact Centre.
He is based in Staines upon Thames and consultations are held by appointment at Thames Side, Staines.
